Short interview
What is the mission of your start-up and how are you committed to it?
VQ is determined to overcome algorithmic discrimination by building products, datasets that help other ML and AI become inclusive through optimisation. We are starting with all.txt our product which enables gender-inclusive and -neutral writing for the german language.
What has been your most important learning so far when starting your business?
Trust your intuition and follow it. Sometimes things feel more complicated then they really are and your head can get in the way. Talking to others about the problem is always helpful but make sure to only listen to the people that actually have good intention and are really interested in your product and you as a person.
What role did Grace play in your founding journey ?
Grace helped me open doors through their network which would have remained otherwise closed. Being able to exchange with other founders was a great experience.
